Hi, I’ve noticed that you’ve blogged about Forgotten God, by Francis Chan. As you may know, we have just released a Forgotten God DVD Study Resource. Because of your wonderful blog post about the book, I’d like to offer you a free copy of the DVD to review. Please email me your address, and I’d be happy to send it. Thanks!

Good post. Sounds like a great book. Not sure about the wording "God is not interested in numbers". I realise that God isn't interested in numbers for the sake of the number, but we also need to realise that behind every single number is a soul. God wants as many people as possible to know him and come to him, so from that perspective numbers are very important, but I agree that we shouldn't get focussed on the numbers ourselves. And, of course, any growth in our church should come as a result of our own mission work, and not just people 'poached' from other churches!

Looks like you have some great stuff to read here. I will stop back and read a few posts when I have time. I'm only starting chapter 3 of Forgotten God, but I really like what Chan has to say so far. If you haven't already, be sure to check out some of his Podcasts. Good stuff.
