The Face of Jesus

Good afternoon readers. I hope everyone’s day is going great so far.

I was reading an article online about Jesus Christ, and I wanted to share it with you. The article is about the History Channel’s study of the face of Jesus. They did a special on it where scientists looked at the Shroud of Turin, and created a 3D face of Jesus.

Of course there is controversy about the Shroud of Turin actually being what Jesus was wrapped in after he was crucified. If you don’t know what I am talking about, click here. Now with the 3D rendering of Jesus, people continue to have mixed feelings. Watch the following videos.

So readers, what do you think? Is this the face of Jesus? Is this what you think  Jesus looked like? Is this something that should have been left to mystery?

What are your thoughts?

I myself, really don’t know if I would want to know what Jesus looked like. In my opinion, it really shouldn’t matter.

Until next time readers, God Bless!

  1. I came across your blog and when I saw this post I remembered a conversation that happened a few days ago when a relative was asking if I thought it was true etc. I just replied “Does it really matter?” Really what difference does it make what Christ looks like. I love him regardless. This may just be another one of those cons which gets people to go to see and worship another piece of man-made make believe. Like crying statues etc. What is important is people getting into a relationship with God right now! Why look for the physical? Spirtual is so much more fulfilling. Getting fed daily with the words of God. I am looking forward to all the things I do not know now. Also I find many people want physical signs and it is not enough for them to believe that he suffered so much for us in order to show us how much he loves us. He does not needs us but he wants us! Which blows me away everytime I think of that.
