Summer Reading List

Hello readers! I hope all of you are doing well today.

Well, even though spring is still here, summer is right around the corner. Now I will fully admit that I am not the biggest reader in the world. I would, however, like to read some books this summer. I need your help though

Here is where you come in. I want you to suggest some books to me. I am a 28-year-old guy with odd tastes. To give you an idea of what I like, here is a list of books that I have read in the past.

Forgotten God by Francis Chan

Crazy Love by Francis Chan

Stiff by Mary Roach

The Gun Seller by Hugh Laurie

The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom

The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch

The Know-It-All by A.J. Jacobs

So readers, let me know of some good books to read. Tell me a little something about them as well.

Thanks, and God Bless!

  1. “Radical: Taking Back Your Faith from the American Dream” by David Platt. Flawed and Fallen did a review of it which is how I first discovered him. The book is based off a series of sermons he did a couple of years ago, I’ve watched the first 6-7 now and some of his other sermons as well. The guy has quickly become my favorite preacher. I can’t get enough. If you want a heavy message that might change your life, check that book or series out. Here was that review:

    and his sermon series:

At present I’m reading “A Praying Life” by Paul Miller and really like it, another you might consider.
