Hello again readers! I am writing this post a head of time in response to my post from yesterday. Good morning by the way!

I know that many of you that read my blog are friends of mine, but there are many of you that I have never met.

For the last year, I have been writing this blog, and have kinda hid behind the wall of not putting my “real” self out there. I have share with you my thoughts and opinions, but I have never given you a face of the person writing these blogs.

So here I am, and below is a little bit about myself.

My name is Tom McDaniel. I am currently am 29 years old and live in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. I have been married to my wife Nicole for about a year and half. We currently don’t have any children.

My wife and I NorthChurch.tv in Oklahoma City. We have connected with a great group of people and love it there.

Jesus Flashes Mall In Oklahoma City!

Good evening readers. Probably a lot of you are wondering about the title of this post.

Well even though I wasn’t there, I wanted to share this with you. The spirit of God arrived at Quail Springs Mall last Saturday.

A flash mob of choral singers entered the food court, and started singing Handel’s Messiah. The news about the mob must have spread, because it looked like a ton of people showed up with cameras.

Check out the video I found.

Can you say awesome? If that didn’t make you get into the Christmas spirit, I don’t know what will.

Good job guys!

Until next time readers, God Bless!

College Football and Jesus

Hello readers and sports fans! It has been a little over a month since my last post, and I apologize about that.

Well everyone, the college football season is almost here. Sept. 2nd is just around the corner! ARE YOU READY??

Here in Oklahoma, college football is a huge thing. Who you root for can be a factor in so many things in life you wouldn’t believe. I have heard that it can even cost you your job.

As you can see in the picture, ” Get Intense” in the slogan alongside the team mascot of the team I root for, the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

I was thinking, shouldn’t we “Get Intense” for Jesus? Why can’t we be fired up for Him like we get fired up for any sporting event?

The Bible mentions something about being luke warm for Christ:

Rev. 3:15-16 (The Message)

“I know you inside and out, and find little to my liking. You’re not cold, you’re not hot—far better to be either cold or hot!16 You’re stale. You’re stagnant. You make me want to vomit.

Let’s get on fire for Christ!

I leave you with this question today:

What are you doing to get on fire for Christ?

Until next time readers, God Bless!

Extreme Makeover Home Edition

GOOOOOD MORNING READERS!! I know that wasn’t as great as Ty Pennington does it when he knocks on the family’s door, but I tried.

Anyway, I just wanted to come on here and share what I get to do today. I get to go volunteer for an Extreme Makeover Home Edition build here in the Oklahoma City metro area. How cool is that? This is day five of the build, and I have heard with all the snow and rain that Oklahoma has had lately, that it is really muddy and crazy out at the build.

This is the Skaggs Family. They live on a ranch in the south central part of Oklahoma. The little guy has a heart condition that made him have a transplant at 10 months old. Read the full story here.

Please pray that this home is a blessing for this family, and that God is shown through the works of all the volunteers.

Until next time readers, God Bless!
